How to Install Android OS on Personal Computer

Android is an open source project of google. Now Android is the best hit of mobile technology. Android had a worldwide smartphone market share of 75% during the third quarter of 2012.

Android OS for PC

We can also install android OS on PC. There is  an open source project  Android-x86  that is actively creating  patches for x86 support for the open source community.
The primary goals of the Android-x86 project is to allow Android to run on PC.
Now, I will demonstrate  How can install android on PC.  In this process we will install android on portable storage.
Step 1:
Download Android-x86 stable release from here :  download
Step 2:
Now we need UNetBootin ( Universal Netboot Installer ) to extract the iso file as installable in CD or a USB device .
To download UNetBootin Click here
Step 3:
Use UNetbootin to extracts the ISO file of android OS which you downloaded and install it in the target disk as showing in screenshot



Step 4 :
Reboot your PC and Press F2 to select booting device at the time of reboot then press F10 Or F12 as per your configurations. Now a option screen appear as screenshot select ” Live CD Run android without installation ” .


 Now you can install android os as your secondary os by clicking "Install Android to harhdisk" and follow the steps appear on screen.
